The agricultural branch is the grouping of all economic activity units that carry out the following activities: crop growing (including market gardening and horticulture), animal husbandry, agricultural contract work, hunting and related activities.
In addition to agricultural holdings, the characteristic units of the industry include producer groups (cooperatives) producing wine and olive oil and specialised units which provide machinery, equipment and personnel for the execution of agricultural contract work.
