Microenterprise (as defined by the LME)

A microgroup (as defined by Law No. 2008-776 of August 4, 2008, on the Modernization of the Economy—LME) is a group of companies whose total number of employees in France is less than 10 and whose total turnover or balance sheet total does not exceed €2 million.

Some microgroups (as defined in the LME) in France have a group leader abroad. They are in fact part of a group whose workforce or turnover or balance sheet total "worldwide" largely exceeds the thresholds indicated above.
