Requirement in hours (salary)

Base salary, fixed freely between employer and employee, can be derived from a determining method known as the "requirement in hours". An agreement on an engagement in number of hours calculated on a weekly or monthly basis between employee and employer must be confirmed in writing. Agreements of hourly requirements at an annual level may only be concluded with executives or employees who enjoy genuine autonomy in the organisation of their schedule and need the support of a collective agreement. In all cases, the agreement must specify the rate of remuneration as well as the number of additional hours which may be included in this fixed remuneration.
