Sales transactions using the Internet or other IT networks such as the exchange of computerised data and involving a change of ownership of the good or service being ordered. Goods and services are ordered via these networks, but payment and final delivery of the good or service may be carried out using traditional methods. Orders received by telephone, fax and e-mail are not considered to be part of electronic commerce. These tools do not enable the complete automation of sales transactions. Banking and financial transactions are not part of electronic commerce.
