Définition

Domestic tax on consumption of energy products (TICPE, formerly "Domestic duty on petroleum products" or TIPP) is the main tax collected in France on certain energy products, in particular those of fuel origin. It is an excise duty. The TIPP therefore corresponds to an amount per unit produced. This amount is set by the Initial Budget law (LFI).
