Exports are the sales declared by the statistical units (legal unit, enterprise) as being exports (meaning outside the country of residence) and including intra-Community supply.
The exports measured here are different from those measured by Customs, in that they correspond solely to direct exports by companies. Customs statistics can also be broken down by product.
