Employment can be measured in the number of people having worked, even during a limited period. Employment can also be measured in full-time equivalent. This is the total number of hours worked in the considered activity divided by the annual average number of hours worked in full-time jobs on the economic territory.The Insee(National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies) also calculates a rate of full-time equivalent employment.
