A strong focus on stakeholders

Attention paid to the stakeholders must be multifaceted. It will aim to increase transparency on the processing carried out by official statistics and to develop upstream consultation with citizens on the reconciliation of data on individuals, in order to strengthen public confidence in our work. But beyond that, paying attention also means measuring needs as well as possible, so it will be necessary to ensure that existing channels of expression are exploited and that the mechanisms for measuring user satisfaction are varied in order to obtain the best possible feedback on the relevance of the statistics produced. It will also be necessary to strengthen links with researchers, in particular by extending their access to micro-data produced or used by ministerial statistical offices.
