Dissemination and Regional Action Directorate (DDAR)

The Dissemination and Regional Action Directorate ensures that products and services generated by INSEE's official statistics activities and by the activities of other departments are available to all users. It disseminates, promotes and distributes products in line with public requirements. It coordinates the provision of studies and the dissemination activities of INSEE's regional offices: general information, studies carried out in partnership with public bodies in the regions, advice and assistance for regional and local decision-makers.

The Directorate also provides the National Council for Statistical Information (CNIS) with the resources for its Secretariat in conjunction with the Department of Statistical and International Coordination. It assists the Council board and in this capacity organises any work needed to ensure consultation between producers and users of official statistics.
