Methodology, Statistical Coordination and International Relations Directorate (DMCSI)

The mission of the Methodology, Statistical Coordination and International Relations Directorate is to devise and promote good statistical methods and practices, to gradually and cooperatively put in place a quality assurance framework and to organise the coordination of INSEE and Ministerial Statistical Departments within the official statistical system, at national and international levels. It is the main contact point for the Ministerial Statistical Departments, assisting the Director General in his role as coordinator of the national statistical authorities as defined by European law. It promotes dynamic innovation management.
