The survey is conducted twice a year, in June and December.
Data collection is by post and online over a period stretching from the end of the month prior to the month of the survey to the date of publication of the survey, in the first ten days of the month following the month of the survey.

Survey of a sample of 4,000 industrial enterprises with 20 employees or more.
All enterprises with at least 500 employees of turnover of €150 million are surveyed.
