Nearly three-quarters of young people gained work experience during their studies

In 2016, eight out of ten graduates aged 15 to 34 years who had completed their studies worked during their course, most often as part of their education. A little over one third of these young people accumulated at least 6 months' compulsory experience for their studies. Higher education graduates frequently had extended experience included in their academic studies.
