In Q3 2016, house prices rose again compared to the previous quarter (+2.5%, not-seasonally adjusted data). The prices of second-hand dwellings increased more (+2.7%) than those of new dwellings (+1.4%).

Year-on-year, house prices increased at a higher pace
Year-on-year, house prices accelerated in Q3 2016 (+1.8% after +0.7% in Q2 2016). New dwelling prices grew faster (+2.2% y-o-y) than second-hand dwelling prices (+1.7%).
Revisions
The index has been revised to include transactions recorded after the previous publication. Compared to the publication of 12 October 2016, the year-on-year variation in housing prices in Q2 2016 has been revised downward by 0.1 points: it stands at +0.7% instead of +0.8%.
