The European Statistics Code of Practice has three objectives: to provide products that meet the needs of users, to ensure the efficiency of statistical procedures and to ensure a credible institutional environment.
The code is based on sixteen principles and 84 indicators.
For each principle, a reminder of the substance of the principle and its indicators is followed by a number of examples of existing procedures or information on the quality of the statistical products made available to users.
