  • 01/01/2016 – Le Theil devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val-au-Perche (61484) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val-au-Perche en lieu et place des communes de Gémages (61185), de L'Hermitière (61204), de Mâle (61246), de La Rouge (61356), de Saint-Agnan-sur-Erre (61359) et du Theil (61484) devenues déléguées.
