Company ITC take-up is still incomplete

In France and most other European countries, almost all companies with at least ten employees are connected to the internet. The adoption of information and communication technologies (ICT) is most widespread in large companies, but is not yet total:less than one company in two has computerised its order management and, among these companies, only one in three has integrated it into an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package.Outside these sectors where these skills constitute the core business, half of personnel regularly use a computer. Only 15 % of the companies employ personnel specialising in ITC.
