Nine out of ten young people entering sixth grade in 1995 report being in good or very good health in 2007
Nine out of ten young French people aged 23 on average in 2007 had a positive perception of their state of health. Young males report being in better health than their female counterparts and seem relatively unconcerned by the impact of risky behaviour on their health. Nearly one in two young people smoke. The proportion is identical for both sexes. Young women have less risky behaviour in regard to alcohol and are more attentive to their health.
