Présentation de l'opération
Organisme producteur :
Insee. Direction des Etudes et Synthèses Economiques (DESE)
Type d'opération :
The survey on the competitiveness of 'Business France' and French companies in the global marketplace should provide information on international competition as experienced by French industrial businesses, and define its structural determining factors (regulatory framework, macroeconomic climate, socio-economic factors, quality of the education system etc.). The international competitiveness of 'Business France' and French companies in the global marketplace not only has a global dimension (impact of exchange rate, geographic orientation of trade), but also a company dimension. A company's export capacity in fact depends on characteristics specific to that company. Factors that can hamper exports are not the same from one company to another. It is for this reason that a detailed analysis of export determining factors can only be obtained by questioning the companies themselves. In this context, the monthly business outlook survey on industry is a natural vehicle for conducting this type of survey.
