In June 2012, new orders in industry decreased (-0.7%)

New orders received in Industry – June 2012

In June 2012, new orders received in industry (except heavy transport equipment) decreased (-0.7%). New orders had already decreased in May (-1.9%).

Non-domestic new orders also decreased by 2.1%.

Over the last quarter, new orders increased in industry (+0.6%)

During the last quarter (q-o-q), new orders increased in the “other manufacturing” sector (+1.0%) and in the car industry (+2.4%). However, new orders decreased in the “electrical and electronic equipment” (-2.8%).

Compared to last year, new orders are higher (+3.3%)

The level of new orders during the last three months was 3.3% higher than a year ago, and the level of non-domestic new orders was 6.8% higher.
