According to the managers interviewed in November 2012, the business climate remains overall deteriorated in the retail trade and in the trade and repair of motor vehicles: the synthetic indicator stabilises at 90, still significantly under its long-term average.

There are less business leaders than in October declaring a decrease of their past sales. However, if the corresponding balance stays very low in trade and repair of motor vehicles, it becomes nearer its average in the retail trade.

In the whole retail trade and trade and repair of motor vehicles, forecasting remains dull: expected sales, ordering intentions, general business outlook have been grim, each of the three balances staying under its long terme average.
