Monthly business survey in services – October 2011
According to the business leaders surveyed in October 2011, the economic situation in services remains almost stable. The business climate synthetic indicator decreases by one point, and is 94.
Though business leaders consider that their activity continued to decrease the last few months, their activity expectations for the months to come are recovering. They expect demand to be more favourable in the next few months.
They consider that their operating balance result declined markedly in the last few months and anticipate a further slowdown in the coming months.
The general outlook drops by two points compared with September.
Job creations remain numerous
In services except temporary employment agencies, business leaders consider that the number of job creations increased slightly in the last few months. They consider that employment should weaken in the following months.
