Slight decrease in payroll employment in Q2 2012

Job creation in competitive sector – 2nd Quarter 2012

In Q2 2012, payroll employment in principally market sectors decreased by 0.1% q-o-q (- 22,400 jobs), after +0.1% (+22,800) in the previous quarter. Excluding temporary work, employment decreased slightly in Q2 2012 (-3,500 jobs).

Job losses in temporary employment

Temporary employment dropped this quarter : -3.3%, after 0.0 % in Q1 2012 (-18,900 jobs).
