Households consumption in manufactured goods decreased in July (-1.2% in volume*) and in August (-1.0%).

Cars and Textile are particularly driving consumption downwards

All three components of households consumption are decreasing.

Durables: -1.7% in July and -0.7% in August,

of which -3.9% and -1.2% respectively, for car purchases.

Textile: -3.0% in July and -3.8% in August.

Other manufactured goods: -0.1% in July and -0.2% in August.

* Volumes are chained and all figures are trading days and seasonally adjusted.
