Slight decline in payroll employment in Q1 2010 (flash estimate)

Flash estimate - Job creation in competitive sector - 1st Quarter 2010

In Q1 2010, payroll employment in principally market sectors is expected to decrease by 0.1% q-o-q (-9,700 jobs) and by 1.3% y-o-y. In Q4 2009, 20,400 jobs were lost.

Temporary employment soared in Q1 2010: +6.7%
