French business climate and turning point indicators –May 2012

According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate is deteriorating in may 2012. The indicator decreases by 4 points and reaches 92 points. It is still under its long term average (100). Business climate indicators decrease in all sectors : -1 point in the building sector, -2 points in industry and services, -7 points in retail trade and -7 points in two months in wholesale trade.

At the same time, the turning point indicator still indicates a favourable business climate.
