the French business climate remains deteriorated in december 2011

French business climate and turning point indicators –December 2011

According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate is slightly deteriorating in november 2011. The indicator contracted by 1 point in one month, after the deterioration of 2 points between october and november. It reaches now 92 and is still significantly under its long term average (100). Business climate indicators fell by two points in industry, by one point in services but remain stable in retail trade in the building sector.

At the same time, the turning point indicator is still to -1 which indicates an unfavourable tendancy relatively to the long term tendancy.
