According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate remains stable in June 2011. The indicator stays at 108, and still remains notably above its long term average (100). This stabilization hides differences among economic sectors : while business climate is improving in industry, it is slightly declining in retail trade. It remains stable in services, however the corresponding turing point indicator stays to the neutral area, indicating an economic uncertainty. In building sector, business leaders’ answers suggest a stabilization of the activity for several months.
At the same time, the turning point indicator slip back slightly, but clearly remains in the favourable zone for more than one year and a half.
