The French business climate still improves in April 2011

French business climate and turning point indicators –April 2011

According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate still improves in March 2011. The indicator reaches 109, staying above its long term average for the eighth month in a row. The business climate is particularly improving this month in the services sector. It remains favourable in industry, while it recovers a bit in retail trade. In building industry, a slight improvement is perceptible through business leaders’ answers.

At the same time, the turning point indicator clearly remains in the favourable zone for one year and a half. This shows continuous signs of a coming recovery.
