According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate improves slightly again in January 2011. The indicator has risen by 1 point, and reaches now 106, which is above its long term average. This favourable climate is particularly perceptible in industry and, to a lesser extent, in services and wholesale trade sectors. Business leaders’ answers suggest again, though, a bleak climate in building industry.
At the same time, the turning point indicator clearly remains in the favourable zone for one year and a half. This shows continuous signs of a coming recovery.
