According to the business leaders of the main economic sectors, the French business climate remains stable in February 2010. The indicator stays around 90, that is 22 points above the minimum record reached in March 2009. It is still way under its long-term average. Indeed, in all economic sectors but retail which slows down slightly, business leaders’ answers do suggest a stabilization in the French economic climate.
At the same time, the turning point indicator remains in the favourable zone for eight months in a row, after a year and a half in the unfavourable zone. This shows continuous signs of a coming recovery.
