French business climate and turning point indicators – May 2013

The business climate remains deteriorated…

Calculated from the answers of business leaders of the main sectors of activity, the French business climate remains stable in may and is 84, still below its long term average (100). The business climate sectoral indicators remained at low levels. The business climate rose by four points in manufacturing industry, but dropped by two points in the building industry. In wholesaling, the composite indicator dropped by two points in two months. In services and retail trade, the synthetic indicators remained stable.

… with an unfavourable dynamic

The french turning point indicator is in an unfavourable area.
