In April, manufacturing production increased by 0.4%

Industrial Production Indices – April 2010

In April 2010, the manufacturing production increased (+0.4%), after +1.2% in March. The April production was boosted by the electronic equipment industry sector (+2.1%) and then manufacture of transport equipment (+1,3%). The “other manufacturing” is stable (+0.1 %).

The production of total industry decreased (-0.3% after +1.3% in March).

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
