In February, manufacturing production increased by 0.4%

Industrial Production Indices – February 2010

In February 2010, the manufacturing production increased (+0.4%), after +0.6% in January (initially announced at +0.8%). The February production was boosted by the “Other manufacturing” sector (+1.0%) and, to a lesser extent, by the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (+16.5%).

The production of total industry was stable (+0.0% after +1.1% in January).

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
