In December, manufacturing production decreased by 0.8%

Industrial Production Indexes – December 2009

In December 2009, the manufacturing production decreased (-0.8%), after an increase in November (+0.8%, initially announced at +1.6%). The magnitude of the revision is due to the annual update of the sa-wda modelisation. The production of Total Industry went down too (-0.1% after +0.6% in November).

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
