In October manufacturing production decreased by 0.8%

Industrial Production Indexes – October 2009

In October 2009, the manufacturing production decreased (-0.8%), after a decrease in September (–1.1%, initially announced at -1.6%, due to a revision in the raw data). The production of Total Industry went down too (-0.8% after -1.2% in September).

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
