In August, the industrial production increased by 1.9%

Industrial Production Indexes – August 2009

In August 2009, the industrial production index excluding energy increased (+1.9 %), after +0.8 % in July (first estimate : +0.6 %). The index stood at 88.9 in August, compared with 87.2 in July and 86.5 in June.

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
