Increase in industrial production in May

Industrial Production Indexes – May 2009

In May 2009, the industrial production index excluding energy increased (+2.4 %), after -0.6 % in April (-0.5 % previously announced). The index stood at 85.6 in May, compared with 83.6 in April and 84.1 in March.

Please note: all the data are adjusted for seasonal variations (SA) and the number of days worked (WDA).
