FAQ : I can't use the price-index simulator.

Answer

The simulator requires your browser to handle the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format. Please refer to SVG format help.

The following additional information may be useful:

f you are using Internet Explorer, the first time you click on the "launch simulator" link, you will be asked to install the svg viewer module. In the pop-up window, click on the link to the Adobe site to choose one of the versions offered. A summary table will show you which version to download for your computer's operating system.

You can choose between installing the file immediately or saving it on your computer (you will then need to execute the installation program later). We have observed that the install prompt window remains active even after installation is complete. close the window, then click again on the "launch simulator" link.

Some users have also had to reboot their computers and empty the browser cache.

Also, make sure that the svg viewer module is actually enabled.

Explanation for Internet Explorer:

  • In "tools" menu, choose "Internet Options" then "Programs"
  • Click "manage add-on modules"
  • In the list, make sure "SVG document" status is "enabled",
  • click "Ok"
