The French classification of products (CPF Rev. 1, 2003) is the national statistical classification of products which has superseded since January 2003 the CPF dating from 1993. The codes and headings are strictly identical to those of CPA (Statistical Classification of Products by Activity in the European Economic Community).
Structure of CPF Rev.1 has been approved by CNAP (National Commission for Activity and Product Classifications) in April 2002.
CPF rev. 1 as well as NAF rev.1 (French Classification of Activities) is established by decree n°2002-1622 of 31 December 2002 which binds all public bodies to use the classification (or any of its derivative) in official texts, decisions, documents, papers and studies.
For each CPF item, there is a link to NAF, the French classification of activities, showing the list (code and heading) of the associated activities. It also gives access to the entire NAF Rev. 1.
