Definition

This constitutes a means to obtain diplomas in the same way as schooling, apprenticeship and continuing training for adults. It takes account of the professional skills acquired via the salaried, non-salaried and voluntary work that is directly related to the content of the diploma. The length of the experience considered is at least three years.

All professional certifications (diplomas, certificates) can be issued in this way by the State, the professional branches or private organisations, and must have been listed in the RNCP (national directory of professional certification).
