Plough lands

Definition

Plough lands include lands for cereal crops, oilseeds and pulses (COP), industrial sugar beet, textile, medicinal and perfume plants, potatoes, fresh and dried field vegetables and fodder crops, as well as fallow land. By convention in the surveys conducted by the Statistics and Forecasting Department (SSP) of the Ministry of Agriculture, arable lands include the above, plus lands for market-gardening and floriculture, and the family gardens of farmers.
