Definition

The occupancy rate is the ratio between the number of occupied rooms (pitches) and the number of rooms (pitches) offered by the hotels (campsites) that are open. It is different from the utilisation rate, which shows the ratio of the number of occupied rooms (pitches) to the total number of rooms (pitches) in hotels (campsites), whether open or closed.
