Capacity subcontracting

Definition

Subcontracting is termed "capacity" when the contracting enterprise, itself equipped to manufacture a product, calls upon another enterprise :

- either occasionally because of a momentary peak in its production or because of a technical incident ;
- or more or less customarily because it wants to maintain an intrinsic capacity for a given form of manufacture and intends to use the production capacities available outside.
