Definition

The state statistical department includes the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) and the ministerial statistical departments (SSM).

Note

The state statistical department is defined at article 1st of Law No. 51-711 of June 7th 1951 on obligations, coordination and the secret in statistics.
