Definition

The register of enterprises with a majority control by the State (RECME) was created by a decree dated October 22, 1984. It is managed by INSEE. An enterprise is recorded with the register when the State holds, directly or through the intermediary of other controlled enterprises, the majority of the capital or voting rights in the decision-making bodies.
