Post of work

Definition

In the statistics produced from the DADS (Annual declarations of social data) and from the SIASP (System for information on civil servants) and the ‘Local knowledge of the production system’ information system, one ‘post’ corresponds to the role of one employee in a company. An employee who works in two different companies (in the year or at a given date) corresponds to two posts.

In files SIASP and DADS, the concept of main post allows not to count several times an employee occupying several posts. The main post of an employee is the most remunerative post.

A post is considered as an non-annexed if the volume of work and the corresponding level of pay are ‘sufficient’.

In most cases, if the pay is greater than 3 months of the minimum wage, or if the amount of time worked is greater than 30 days or 120 hours and the ratio of number of hours to total duration is greater than 1.5, the post is considered non-annexed.
