Occupied labour force (population census)

Definition

The occupied labour force (or labour force employed) in the sense of the population census includes persons who declare to :

- exercise a profession (salaried or not), even part-time ;
- help a person in their work (even unpaid) ;
- be apprentices, paid interns, etc ;
- be unemployed and looking for a job ;
- be a student or retired but be employed.
