Définition

Natural persons and corporate bodies have a legal status. Natural persons acquire their legal status at birth and lose it upon their death. A corporate body is created by the private will of its member(s) materialised by the signing of articles of association and its listing with the Business Register for a company and with the Prefecture for an association. It ends when it is wound up. The legal status of the corporate body is distinct from the legal status of each of its members.
