Definition
This notion refers to the rooms used for dwelling (including the kitchen if its surface area exceeds 12 m2), as well as annexe rooms that are not set aside for third parties (service rooms, etc.). Rooms used exclusively for professional purposes are not counted, nor are hallways, corridors, bathrooms, etc.
