Retirement incentives are one of the components of "expenditure for employment" (DPE) and include, among other things :

- special allowances from the National Employment Fund (FNE) ;
- phased-in retirement schemes ;
- job substitution allowances (ARPE);
- retirement schemes for certain salaried workers (CATS);
- retirement schemes for older farmers, retailers or tradespeople;
- as well as some former systems: income guarantees, early retirement solidarity contracts, reintegration allowances for foreign workers.
